A coach is a service provider that helps clients get a result. As a counselor, you can help your clients lose weight (health coach), find a better job (professional advisor), or improve their finances (financial advisor). Make sure you set a comfortable tone, maintain eye contact, and give them plenty of time to think and answer your questions. Encourage them to express themselves without you agreeing or disagreeing.
I LOVE group coaching because it's a great way to get more customers and grow your business. That's why coaching can be an incredibly rewarding business (and yes, a coaching business can make it possible for you to leave your 9 to 5 years old and make a lot of money). After all, coaching is a skill you can learn even if you don't have coaching experience or certification. Question-focused coaching is based on the coach asking questions and the coachee providing the answers.

There's one thing you need to implement before you have your first coaching sessions: a coaching contract.

If your coach has spent time getting rid of the batteries to get to what's “real”, the coaching process usually takes longer and may not be as effective.
